Who Knew?!?!?

Alright ladies...I have a problem. For some reason, my body is insisting I am back in school...which means I am ready for bed at like 9:00. This poses a problem for lots of reasons...
1. It's just super lame
2. Keith misses me when i go to sleep at 9:00 (he does, i know it! :))
3. I have a b.o.a.t. load of stuff to do for the new year!
I don't know why this is happening to me...I think my body is preparing for all the energy those crazy littles are gonna take out of me! :)

Sooo...I'm so proud that I made it until 12! Haha! It's only because I wanted to get alot of laminated stuff cut out...15 feet to be exact. Yesterday, I was reading a super great tip on Doodle Bugs, about lamination and she said to cut everything apart first and then you can hold it over a basket to catch all the loose lamination. This was, to me, totally life altering hahaha. Never even occurred to me!

Anyway, I was just cutting away over one of my plastic bins and I kept getting so frustrated! The lamination pieces were sticking to my hands, the scissors, my legs, the couch, etc. etc. etc. So, I told my super smart fiancee that I was about to throw all of this across the room and he told me to get a dryer sheet. Well, I didn't just get "a" dryer sheet, but let me tell ya, best. idea. ever. I put a few dryer sheets at the bottom of the little basket, and then added more periodically as it stacked up or I needed to wipe off the scissors. Those few little dryer sheets kept all of the lamination in the basket and off of my scissors and my hands! Here's a picture of what it looked like :)

Seriously, totally made it so much easier. Just thought all of my blogger friends could use that little tip! I suppose it could be totally in my head, but I'm telling you, IT WORKS!! :) With the help of a little Bounce, I was able to accomplish this! :)

The stack is a lot bigger than it looks, hahah, and my hand is sore. :) BUT I got lots of classroom printables and a few stations cut out and ready! :)

I actually had 2 "who knew" moments today...this one was a LITTLE less life altering, but still pretty awesome. As you all know, I am obsessed with Criminal Minds. Emily Prentiss is one of the super awesome BAU members. This is her on Criminal Minds...

Okay...now, go back like 10 years or so. Do you remember on FRIENDS, Joey was dating this cute girl with a bob named Kathy. Chandler was totally into her and got her the Velveteen Rabbit for her birthday and Joey got her the pen with a clock on it. So they switched gifts, yada yada, and Chandler ended up in a box.
Look at that! MIND BLOWN!!!!! :) My bestie and I love playing Six Degrees of Separation. I just totally connected my two favorite shows with one actress. What What?!?!?! :)

Happy Tuesday, yall, and get some rest! :) We only have a few more weeks to stockpile all of our sleep! :)

  5. I have the exact opposite problem. I'm staying up super late and sleeping in and then I have such a hard time switching back over to the school routine sleep. I have to start getting back in that mode though. Maybe chamomille tea. lol I've nominated you for the Liebster Award. Come by my blog to get it. :)
