Anyway...I wanted to post a few projects I worked on this week. Both of these were SO easy and SO fun. I am super excited with the finished result. I can't take credit for either of these ideas, but I think they kind of well known, so I would have no idea where to say the original source was from.
How fun are these pointers for Guided Reading? They were so easy, I made a class set. I think I might just let them keep them in their book bags. They would be perfect for Write the Room too! All I did was paint the big craft sticks, and used a hot glue gun to attach the eyes.
These glitter clothespins were super easy too! This glitter pack was only $4 at Wal Mart, and all the colors were perfect for my classroom!
I used mod podge to attach the glitter. This project did not bring out the perfectionist in me, as you can see! Hah! I'm going to use these to hang student work. I'll be sure to show you that when it's done!
The glitter is not sealed in well, so they are locked in this baggie until I can buy some sealant. Ha! Hubby does NOT like glitter! :)
My last project was putting my binder together. NOW...I don't have my class list yet so it's not really ready for the 1st day of school. I need to make some copies too...but it's pretty much ready! I LOVE it. Here are some of the pages. There are ALOT more. I think it's over 300 pages now, ha! Mostly because it has all of the Common Core Standards listed for K-5, as well as the TEKS for K-5. The TEKS aren't formatted quite as fancy as CC because there are just so many of them, and the formatting of them wasn't the same.

Be sure to look at the preview! It's much more detailed!

Now, of course, I've got to give some of these away! The 5th and 10th person to comment will get this binder for free! :)
