Five for Friday

fiveforfriday

I'm linking up with Kacey at Doodle Bugs (one of my FAVS!!!) for her Five for Friday linky party! Click the picture to link up!! :)

They are not school related this week. Sometimes I need to just be Haley...and not Mrs. or Teacher. Or "Connor" as my littles have taken to call me since they can't say O'Connor. :)

1. I started Beautiful Creatures with my bestie. We are always Book Buddies. Usually I am faster than her, but she is FLYING through these books! I've been trying to catch up!
Click the picture to buy it! It's so good! I'm embarrassed that I am a sucker for "Young Adult" fiction. Hahaha. I know I'm not the only one!! It's a super easy, fun read and I'm really getting into the story.

2. My hubby is amazing and has been watching my Crime shows with me. LOVE HIM! It has made this week even better than usual! In the evenings, I usually curl up in front of the TV and work on school stuff and he works in the office. This week, we have spent every evening cooking dinner, cleaning (ugh!), and watching shows. I think this week I will have to watch Science with him. Dun Dun Dun.

3. My new favorite thing is to spend Sunday cooking for the week. I LOVE it. A little wine...I mean Sprite...helps too. :) I actually made Egg Burritos for the week and they were SOOO good! It makes eating healthier so much easier! Plus it's so relaxing to come home and dinner be ready (or almost ready.) Usually I just have to reheat or bake something really quick. This is one of my favorites from the week! It's Greek Yogurt, Cocoa, and a few other things! So healthy and delicious! Click the picture to go to the link.

4. My new blog is almost ready!!! Here is the button for a little sneak peak!

5. I found this picture online and laughed way harder than I should! Just thought I'd share! :)

Get it?!?!? Bahahah! You know...they're wearing Wind Breakers. Crackin me up! Happy Friday all!

  1. I took a young adult literacy class last semester that went towards my Masters. I teach first grade too, so I had a hard time relating to most of the class curriculum! I did have the opportunity to read several YA books. My favorite was Divergent. If you haven't read this yet, you must! It's a series, much like The Hunger Games. I can't wait to read the next book Insurgent. I'm going to add your book to my list too! Happy Friday! I'm a new follower!

  4. Those muffins look so yummy. I use to cook all my meals on Sunday, when the kids were younger. It made the week so much easier. I keep thinking I need to do the same thing now, but that means I would, actually, need to start cooking again. I am your newest follower.
